Success for Petersfield U8’s at Chichester Hockey Tournament

On Sunday 12th January the team travelled to Chichester to take part in a 6 game hockey tournament with other local teams including: Chichester, Havant, Fareham and Portsmouth.
The team played impressive attacking hockey winning 4 of the 6 games they played. The skill of the attacking players provided Petersfield with 18 goals from Tom, Ollie, Alex and Archie. Exceptional defending by Ellie and Archie and good midfield attacking and defensive moves by Fynn, Lauren, Marine and Megan meant that Petersfield spent most of the tournament playing in their opponents half and ensured their team only conceded 4 goals during the tournament.
These amazing players provided a morning of very exciting and at times nail biting hockey, for the second year running Petersfield have shown they are a force to be reckoned with, well done everyone!
