Petersfield U8s showed few signs of post Christmas rustiness as they took the Chichester festival by storm. It did not take the team long to pick up from where they had left off during the early season. Soon finding their touch and team patterns they produced their best team play to date. Once again, success was founded on strong defence and good distribution from the back three of Callard-Williams, Temple and Sands.
The midfield of Keville, Vickery, Shanks displayed their usual competitive spirit and strong running. Goals subsequently came through some good interplay and understanding from the attacking trio of Crabtree, Shanks and Cleife. Culminating in an 8-0 win over Portsmouth through some impressive team goals. They played with a smile on their face and most importantly the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Played 5, won 5, 17 goals for, 0 against.
