On Sunday 17th November Petersfield U10 Hockey team played a tournament at Havant. Facing some strong opposition in Fareham and Haslemere to start they lost the first two games, but then came back strongly with three draws and one win against Gosport 2-0 with two goals from James Hill. Oliver Slingsby and Harry Stanbridge worked exceptionally hard in midfield to win possession and there were some resolute, last-ditch defending from Serena McKenzie, Seb Gray and Finlay Rushin. They were able to catch Portsmouth on the counter attack with a goal from Lowri Hegan to gain a well-deserved draw in our final game.
