A Great Friendly Match Win

A great match for the U16Gs today. Everyone played really well - Rich asked the girls to remember what we’d been working on in training last week with direction of runs and passes which gave everyone a clear plan and the confidence to work together with it. We saw some great passages of play with lovely passing and positioning.
The team is starting to gel really nicely and trust one another which was great to see.
Half time the score was 2:2 but we decided on a way to counter Alton’s stronger player(s) which worked and Petersfield scored 4 times in the second half to win 6:2 at full time.
2 Goals from Chloe W and goals from Daisy, Georgie, Emily and Anneka. Some great shots at goal too from Olivia and Hannah.
Strong work in defence from everyone, especially Millie who was playing out of position. The halves kept the play wide which really paid dividends. And some fabulous saves from GK Tamsin.
Well done everyone - if you were mentioned by name it doesn’t mean you didn’t play brilliantly.
