Petersfield u16 girls dominated a strong Andover side. Our girls were rewarded with a majority of possession by aggressively pressing the defence and forcing turnovers deep in Andovers half.

Sadly the goals didn’t drop and after a few Andover counterattacks against the run of play, Petersfield suffered a frustrating 2-1 loss.

Coaches player of the match is Hannah Johnston, but special mention to all the attackers and midfield that took the game forward. Next game is against Yately, 1pm on 3rd November at home (Bedales). We are a really friendly club and always welcome new players to come and join us, we are particularly seeking girls for our U14 team.

Please wear red socks and come wearing your blue Petersfield match top, red away tops will be provided so please be prepared to change into these. As there are only 11 tops some people will need to wear a bib over their blue match top.
Please note there are some strict rules at the ground - absolutely no smoking, vaping or dogs. There is however plenty of parking. The ground is about an hour away from Petersfield, to make matters worse the A3 is closed southbound from Petersfield to the A3M so the A272 might be quite busy. Please feel free to coordinate lift shares on the WhatsApp group
