Frustrating 3-2 loss for the 2s this week against isle of white. The game started off to a positive start for petersfield ladies 2, with the majority of the possession in the attacking half. Determined to get the first goal, petersfield attacked and a shot from O’kelly followed up by Purkiss meant the first goal trickled over the line. As if by routine, this happened again for a second trickling over the line meaning the score was 2-0 at half time.

In the second half, a number of shots went to the goalie, wide or high and petersfield couldn’t manage to score again and their legs were getting tired. In an unfortunate turn around, the Isle of Wight managed to get multiple 16 hit outs to the right wing and they slipped 2 goals in. The final goal came from an Isle of Wight short, leaving the final score 3-2. Petersfield plan to come out fighting in their next game!
