Aldershot are a new opposition in an our league so we were unsure what to expect. With a new goalie debuting and no subs available it could have been a tough game.
Instead it was really good natured match between two teams evenly matched.
Petersfield held more possession consistently which paid off with more attacks in the D but only one strike by Llewelyn Davis finding the back of the net in the first half.
Aldershot equalised in the second half from a penalty corner after new GK Cooke had successfully deflected previous attempts.
Some lovely passages of play by Petersfield show promise of good things to come this season.
