Impressive start to the season for the U12 boys

The first game of the season saw Petersfield U12 boys host Basingstoke. Petersfield fielded a mixed team of experienced Yr7's and new to the league Yr6's. Petersfield took the game to 'Stoke scoring 2 goals within minutes of push back, 2 more goals followed before Petersfield offered their goalie to the opposition who gladly accepted the gester. A goalie provided the confidence Basingstoke needed and they went on to score 4 goals against the Petersfield defence. All in all Petersfield won the first game with an impressive display of attacking hockey and team work.
