The U12 boys travelled to Portsmouth on a bright and sunny spring like morning. Petersfield dominated the play and on many occasions looked like they would score, however a strong CoP defence kept their strikes at goal from clearing the line.

An evenly matched game saw some great attacking play from Condor, Walton ,T. Young and Oatley with the strength from the mid field provided by Rowland who was on fire today. The dynamic defence was lead by Hulme with Maughan-Taylor and Renshaw providing the support on the left and right. The new players Cullen, Medley and Anstey did very well for their first game out as Petersfield U12 players.

Special mention to E Young, our epic goalie who wins my player of the match and received congratulations from the oppo parents for his magnificent effort today.

Langstone Sports Site, University of Portsmouth Sports Campus at Furze Lane, PO4 8LW, at the end of Locksway Rd Portsmouth.

We can normally get on the pitch from about 9:30am.

Depending on what events are going on you should be able to find parking on the street, if not there’s parking at the uni for £2.

We’ve been asked to remind visitors that no dogs are allowed on the University grounds and pitches.
